What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Hawaiian Bros Island Grill FDD, Hawaiian Bros Island Grill retains the right to modify the standard restaurant menu, including deleting items. This allows Hawaiian Bros Island Grill to respond to market changes, improve efficiency, and maintain brand standards across all franchise locations. There are no limitations on Hawaiian Bros Island Grill's right to make these changes.
For a potential franchisee, this means that the menu they initially invest in may not remain static. Hawaiian Bros Island Grill can remove items based on performance, supply chain issues, or strategic decisions. Franchisees are obligated to sell all food and beverage items included on the standard menu, as periodically revised.
This flexibility is common in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to maintain consistency and adapt to changing consumer preferences. However, it also means that franchisees must be prepared to adjust their operations and marketing strategies as the menu evolves. Franchisees are required to offer all foods and beverages included on Hawaiian Bros Island Grill's standard menu, as revised from time to time, and, without Hawaiian Bros Island Grill's prior written consent, will not offer any foods, beverages, or other merchandise that is not included on Hawaiian Bros Island Grill's authorized Hawaiian Bros Restaurant menu or other merchandise list, as revised from time to time.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand the potential impact of menu changes on their profitability and operational efficiency. They should discuss with Hawaiian Bros Island Grill the typical frequency and scope of menu changes, as well as the support and training provided to franchisees when new menus are introduced.
