What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hardees's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the brand utilizes software from multiple third-party vendors to facilitate operations. Specifically, Partech, Inc. (referred to as "PAR Brink") provides a point-of-sale (POS) system for Hardees restaurants. Additionally, CrunchTime, Inc. offers a back-office system. These two software solutions are collectively referred to as "Licensed Products" within the agreement.
Furthermore, Hardees uses Olo for e-commerce, delivery enablement, payment solutions, and other associated services. The document indicates that CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. ("Customer") has a Master Services Agreement with Olo to provide these services to its franchisees or licensees, including Hardees operators.
Prospective Hardees franchisees should note that they will likely need to enter into separate Software License Agreements with PAR Brink and CrunchTime to utilize the POS and back-office systems. The franchisor, CKR, may provide in-house technical support for these Licensed Products under the terms and conditions of a separate agreement. The use of Olo's services is also governed by the Master Services Agreement between CKE and Olo, which dictates the terms under which Hardees franchisees can access these e-commerce and delivery solutions.
