What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hardees's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Development Principal may be required to complete specific training programs. If requested by Hardees, the Development Principal must successfully complete Hardees's development training. In addition, if requested by Hardees, the Development Principal must successfully complete the Franchise Management Training Program ("FMTP").

These training requirements are conditions of maintaining the role of Development Principal. If the Development Principal no longer meets the qualifications, the developer must provide written notice to Hardees designating a qualified replacement within 30 days. Hardees must approve the new Development Principal.

For a Multi-Unit Development Manager, if requested by Hardees, the Multi-Unit Development Manager must successfully complete Hardees's development training. In addition, the Multi-Unit Development Manager must successfully complete the FMTP and any additional training required by Hardees. This highlights the importance Hardees places on ensuring that individuals in key development roles are adequately trained and capable of fulfilling their responsibilities.
