Hardees Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

In addition to offering franchises for the operation of Hardee's Restaurants from Travel Center Locations and Gas and Convenience Locations, HR offers franchises to operate Hardee's Restaurants at traditional locations and nontraditional locations under one or more separate disclosure documents. That offer will be on terms and conditions different from those described in this disclosure document. Nontraditional locations include, but are not limited to, airports, train stations, bus stations, stadiums, arenas, convention centers, military facilities, schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, recreational theme parks, business or industrial foodservice venues, venues in which foodservice is or may be provided by a master concessionaire or contract foodservice provider, Indian reservations, casinos, "ghost" or "dark" kitchens or any similar captive market or non-traditional "brick and mortar" location.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hardees's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Hardees does offer franchises for traditional locations. However, the specific terms and conditions for these franchises are outlined in separate disclosure documents and may differ from those for Travel Center or Gas and Convenience Locations. This means that if a prospective franchisee is interested in opening a Hardees restaurant at a traditional location, they would need to review a different FDD than one focused on Travel Center or Gas and Convenience locations.

Hardees also offers franchises for non-traditional locations, such as airports, train stations, stadiums, and military facilities, under separate disclosure documents. The availability of different franchise options allows Hardees to cater to various investment levels and operational preferences. It is important for potential franchisees to carefully review the specific FDD that applies to their desired location type to understand the unique obligations and opportunities associated with each franchise offering.

Therefore, a potential franchisee should ensure they obtain and review the correct Franchise Disclosure Document that corresponds to the specific type of location they are interested in pursuing, whether it be a traditional location, a travel center, a gas and convenience location, or a non-traditional venue. This will ensure they have the most accurate and relevant information for making an informed decision about investing in a Hardees franchise.
