What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hardees's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee is a business entity, they must provide Hardees (HR) with copies of their governing documents. These documents outline the structure and rules of the business. Additionally, the franchisee must furnish any other corporate documents, books, or records that Hardees may request.
It's important to note that if any of these governing documents are modified or changed, the franchisee is obligated to promptly provide copies of the updated documents to Hardees. This ensures that Hardees remains informed about the current legal and operational structure of its franchisees.
This requirement allows Hardees to maintain oversight and ensure that franchisees operate in accordance with the franchise agreement and any applicable laws or regulations. By keeping Hardees informed of any changes to the business entity's governing documents, franchisees contribute to the overall consistency and integrity of the Hardees brand.
