What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hardees's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must offer online ordering and delivery services. Specifically, Hardees requires franchisees to participate in online ordering and delivery programs that they establish with approved vendors. Franchisees also must comply with Hardees's specifications for these programs.
Hardees has designated specific providers for these services. OLO is the sole software platform provider for the online ordering program, and Punchh is the platform for the loyalty program. Hardees has also partnered with designated service providers for its delivery program, including Uber Eats, Door Dash, and GrubHub. Franchisees are required to use these approved third-party delivery service providers if they operate in the restaurant's serviceable area. Any other delivery service providers must be pre-approved by Hardees.
Furthermore, Hardees requires franchisees to accept and process specific customer delivery orders through these programs. Hardees retains the right to modify the participation criteria or discontinue these initiatives at any time with written notice. This ensures that Hardees can maintain control over the quality and consistency of its online ordering and delivery services across all franchise locations.
