What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hardees' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Gas and Convenience Center Location is primarily focused on providing non-commercial fuel service and convenience items, including freshly made foods. This is one of two location types, the other being a Travel Center, where a Hardees restaurant can be developed and operated under a franchise agreement.

Hardees also offers a Travel Center Development Incentive Program for franchisees who develop restaurants at these locations. To be eligible, the location must be within ½ mile of an interstate or limited access highway and include a combination of high rise pylon sign, billboard or other highway sign. The Travel Center or Gas and Convenience Location must be opened pursuant to a Development Agreement dated no later than May 24, 2026, that includes the development of at least three newly-constructed Hardee's Restaurants.

For franchisees who develop three or more Hardee's restaurants or convert an existing restaurant to a Hardee's restaurant as part of the 2025 HR Travel Center Development Incentive Program, Hardees will reduce or waive the initial franchisee fee and reduce the royalty fee and APO fee. Franchisees should note that if they sign the HR 2025 Development Incentive Program Addendum to Franchise Agreement, they will not be entitled to any other incentives that have been or may be offered by Hardees.
