What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hardees' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase the necessary equipment and services to receive communications, including updates to the Operation Procedures Manual (OPM). This includes a computer system, internet service, and a dedicated phone line.
The OPM contains critical information for operating a Hardees restaurant, and Hardees reserves the right to deliver all or part of the OPM electronically or online. This means that franchisees must have the technological infrastructure in place to access and utilize these resources. Franchisees are responsible for keeping their copy of the OPM current with all updates from Hardees.
In the event of a dispute regarding the contents of the OPM, the master copy maintained by Hardees will be the controlling reference. Therefore, it is essential that franchisees maintain reliable access to Hardees' communications to ensure compliance and avoid potential conflicts.
