Conventions

We may, from time to time, conduct conferences, conventions, programs, webinars, teleconferences, or training sessions on any matters related to the System. Your Operating Principal or your General Manager and other personnel we designate must attend each such meeting, program, or session that we require. We may charge you a reasonable fee to attend any such meeting, program, or session.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hardees's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Hardees may require franchisees and their personnel to attend conferences, conventions, programs, webinars, teleconferences, or training sessions related to the Hardees system. Attendance may be mandatory for the Operating Principal, General Manager, and other designated personnel.

Hardees reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for attendance at these meetings, programs, or sessions. Additionally, franchisees may be required to purchase or license training platforms and equipment from Hardees, its affiliates, or third-party suppliers to access training materials.

Hardees also reserves the right to require franchisees to pay a tuition fee for additional training programs they may offer. Franchisees are responsible for covering all travel, living, and other expenses incurred by themselves and their employees while attending any training programs.
