What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hardees's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to complete development training to Hardees's satisfaction. The franchisee must also pay a tuition fee for each person attending the required development training, the amount of which is determined by Hardees.
In addition to the required development training, Hardees also offers optional development training. Franchisees may choose to attend this optional training, but they are also responsible for paying a tuition fee for each person attending. The amount of this fee is also set by Hardees.
Regardless of whether the training is required or optional, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, living, and other expenses incurred by themselves and their employees while attending the training programs. This includes costs associated with transportation, accommodation, meals, and any other incidentals.
