What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Goldfish Swim School FDD, either the Designated Manager or the Control Person must be present during all periodic visits from the Franchisor. These visits, which may be announced or unannounced, are for consultation, assistance, and guidance regarding the operation and management of the swim school.
During these visits, Goldfish Swim School representatives have the right to inspect the premises, observe operations (including photographing and video/audio recording), remove samples for testing, and interview personnel and customers. Following the visit, a written report will be prepared detailing any issues and suggesting improvements. The franchisee is required to implement any necessary changes within 14 days of receiving the report.
If the franchisee fails to correct deficiencies within a reasonable time, Goldfish Swim School has the right to correct them and charge the franchisee for the expenses incurred. Ensuring that either the Designated Manager or Control Person is present during these visits is crucial for maintaining compliance and addressing any operational issues promptly.
