What This Means (2025 FDD)

The 2025 Goldfish Swim School Franchise Disclosure Document does not state that the initial franchise fee is specifically for a uniform. The FDD does mention the initial franchise fee, which is a $50,000 lump sum payment due when signing the Franchise Agreement. For a second and subsequent franchise under an Area Development Agreement, the franchise fee is $20,000.

The document specifies that the initial franchise fee is uniform and outlines conditions under which a portion of the fee may be refunded. Specifically, Goldfish Swim School will refund 25% of the franchise fee if they terminate the franchise due to the franchisee's failure to select a site within 180 days or failure to complete the initial training program successfully.

While the FDD details the initial franchise fee and potential refunds, it does not provide information on whether this fee covers the cost of uniforms. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Goldfish Swim School whether the initial franchise fee includes the cost of any required uniforms or if uniforms are a separate expense.
