- 24.11 Anti-Terrorism Representations.
Franchisee and its owners agree to comply with and/or to assist Franchisor to the fullest extent possible in Franchisor's efforts to comply with Anti-Terrorism Laws (as defined below).
In connection with such compliance, Franchisee and its owners certify, represent, and warrant that none of their property or interests is subject to being "blocked" under any of the Anti-Terrorism Laws and that Franchisee and its owners are not otherwise in violation of any of the Anti-Terrorism Laws.
Franchisee and its owners certify that none of them, their respective employees, or anyone associated with Franchisee is listed in the Annex to Executive Order 13224 (which can be accessed at http://www.treasury.gov/offices/enforcement/ofac/legal/eo/13224.pdf).
Franchisee agrees not to hire (or, if already employed, retain the employment of) any individual who is listed in the Annex.
Franchisee certifies that it has no knowledge or information that, if generally known, would result in Franchisee, its owners, their employees, or any one associated with Franchisee to be listed in the Annex to Executive Order 13224.Franchisee is solely responsible for ascertaining what actions it must take to comply with the Anti-Terrorism Laws, and Franchisee specifically acknowledges and agrees that its indemnification responsibilities set forth in this Agreement pertain to its obligations under this Section 24.11.
Any misrepresentation under this Section or any violation of the Anti-Terrorism Laws by Franchisee, its owners, agents, its employees shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Agreement and any other agreement Franchisee has entered with Franchisor or any of Franchisor's affiliates. According to the 2025 Goldfish Swim School FDD, franchisees are responsible for understanding and adhering to Anti-Terrorism Laws. Goldfish Swim School franchisees must determine what actions they need to take to comply with these laws. Franchisees also agree to assist Goldfish Swim School in complying with Anti-Terrorism Laws to the fullest extent possible.

Any misrepresentation or violation of Anti-Terrorism Laws by the Goldfish Swim School franchisee, their owners, agents, or employees constitutes grounds for immediate termination of the Franchise Agreement and any other agreements with Goldfish Swim School or its affiliates. The term "Anti-Terrorism Laws" includes Executive Order 13224 and the Terrorism.
