We will loan to you during the term of this Agreement one (1) copy of our Brand Standards Manual, consisting of such materials (including, as applicable, digital format and written materials) that we generally furnish to franchisees from time to time for use in operating a Golden Krust Restaurant. The Brand Standards Manual contains mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, operating procedures and rules ("System Standards") that we prescribe from time to time for the operation of a Golden Krust Restaurant and information relating to your other obligations under this Agreement and related agreements. The Brand Standards Manual may be modified from time to time to reflect changes in System Standards. You agree to keep your copy of the Brand Standards Manual current. In the event of a dispute relating to its contents, the master copy of the Brand Standards Manual we maintain at our principal office will be
controlling. You may not at any time, copy, share, duplicate, record or otherwise reproduce any part of the Brand Standards Manual. If your copy of the Brand Standards Manual is lost, destroyed or significantly damaged, you agree to obtain a replacement copy at our then applicable charge.

According to Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant will loan one copy of its Brand Standards Manual to franchisees during the term of the Franchise Agreement. This manual contains the mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules, collectively known as System Standards, that Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant prescribes for operating a Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant. The manual also includes information about the franchisee's obligations under the Franchise Agreement and related agreements. The Brand Standards Manual may be modified periodically to reflect changes in System Standards.
The master copy of the Brand Standards Manual maintained at Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant's principal office will be controlling in the event of a dispute relating to its contents. Franchisees must keep their copy of the Brand Standards Manual current. Franchisees are prohibited from copying, sharing, duplicating, recording, or otherwise reproducing any part of the Brand Standards Manual.
If a franchisee's copy of the Brand Standards Manual is lost, destroyed, or significantly damaged, the franchisee must obtain a replacement copy at Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant's then-applicable charge. This policy is fairly standard in franchising, as the brand standards are critical for maintaining consistency across all franchise locations and protecting the brand's reputation.
