According to the 2024 Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise is granted for a specific location. The document states that the specific location must first be approved by Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant. The company will consider multiple factors when approving a restaurant location.

While the franchise is granted for a specific location, Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant does not grant exclusive territories. This means that a franchisee may face competition from other franchisees, outlets that Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant owns, or other channels of distribution or competitive brands that Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant controls.

A franchisee is not granted options, rights of first refusal, or similar rights to acquire additional franchises within a territory or contiguous territories. The franchisee may not operate the restaurant at any other site without Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant's prior written consent. If Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant consents to the restaurant's relocation, they may charge the franchisee for the reasonable costs and expenses they incur in connection with the relocation.

Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant (and its affiliates) reserve all rights that are not expressly granted to the franchisee under the Franchise Agreement. This includes the right to establish and grant to other franchisees the right to establish, Traditional Golden Krust Restaurants anywhere other than the franchisee's site on such terms and conditions they deem appropriate, and to sell products identified by the Marks through distribution channels other than Traditional Golden Krust Restaurant.
