According to Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the equipment and fixtures for your restaurant must meet the franchisor's minimum standards and specifications. Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant will notify franchisees of these standards and specifications, as well as the names of approved suppliers, in the Brand Standards Manual or other communications.

This requirement ensures uniformity and quality across all Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant locations, which helps maintain brand consistency. Franchisees must adhere to these standards when selecting and purchasing equipment and fixtures. This may limit the franchisee's choice of suppliers, as they are required to use only those approved by Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant.

The FDD also states that franchisees are obligated to operate the restaurant according to the System Standards, which may regulate the types, models, and brands of required fixtures, furnishings, equipment, signs, materials, and supplies. Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant requires franchisees to purchase or lease all of their restaurant's equipment from designated or approved suppliers.
