What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant franchisee is obligated to submit construction plans and specifications to Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant for approval before starting any construction. Furthermore, Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant may request revised or as-built plans and specifications during the construction process.
Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant will provide sample drawings and specifications, including mandatory and suggested requirements for dimensions, design, image, interior sample drawings, décor, fixtures, equipment, signs, furnishings, and color schemes at no cost to the franchisee. This ensures that each restaurant maintains a consistent brand image and meets the franchisor's standards.
This requirement is typical in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to maintain uniformity and quality control across all locations.
