What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method may terminate the franchise agreement if a franchisee does not complete all required training and has not qualified to teach within six months of attending the Teacher Training Immersion Week. However, Gokhale Method must provide 30 days' notice to the franchisee, giving them an opportunity to rectify the situation. If the franchisee fails to complete the training and become qualified within that 30-day period, Gokhale Method can then proceed with terminating the agreement.

This condition highlights the importance Gokhale Method places on proper training and qualification of its teachers. The initial training consists of a Teacher Training Immersion Week, followed by additional training and practice requirements. This comprehensive approach aims to ensure that all teachers are well-prepared to deliver the Gokhale System effectively to both groups and individuals. Franchisees should be aware of the time commitment and dedication required to complete the training program successfully.

Furthermore, Gokhale Method also requires ongoing training to maintain teaching approval. Failure to attend and participate in continuing training programs may result in suspension of the franchisee's right to teach the Gokhale System until the required training is completed and re-approval is granted. If a franchisee teaches while suspended, Gokhale Method may terminate the agreement immediately upon notice. This underscores the franchisor's commitment to maintaining high standards and ensuring that franchisees stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Gokhale Method.
