What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, the training for the introduction to Gokhale Method philosophy does not include on-the-job training. The training consists of 4 hours of classroom training which takes place at the location of the Immersion Week Course.
Prospective franchisees should note that the Gokhale Method requires completion of not only the Initial Training but also any further training classes or refresher courses that the company may authorize or direct from time to time. Failure to complete the required training may result in the suspension of the franchisee's right to teach one or more courses or formats.
Before opening a franchised business, franchisees must successfully complete the Initial Training, which includes memorization and recitation of scripts. The Initial Training consists of one week of training in the Gokhale Method at the company headquarters or other designated locations, followed by participation in at least twelve teacher webinars, self-study of the Gokhale Foundations course script and materials, and teaching the full six-lesson Gokhale Foundations course in a one-on-one setting to two separate practice students.
