What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain an application proprietary to GMI for an iPhone as part of their initial equipment. The FDD specifies that there is no charge for this application. This means that while franchisees are required to have this application, they will not incur a separate fee for it.
This requirement is part of a larger set of mandatory purchases franchisees must make from Gokhale Method before opening their franchised business. These purchases are intended to ensure uniformity and adherence to Gokhale Method's standards. The FDD specifies that Gokhale Method derives revenue from these required purchases.
Prospective franchisees should note that while the iPhone application itself is free, they will need to have an iPhone to use it. The FDD states that franchisees must have an iPhone 6S or later, running iOS 15 or above. Franchisees should factor the cost of the iPhone into their initial investment if they do not already own a compatible device.
