What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to store specific customer information on their computers and share it with Gokhale Method by inputting it into their system in a manner set forth by them.
The information that franchisees must store and share includes customer names, addresses, contact information, how much the customers pay, the courses taken by the customers, and the customers' payment methods. Gokhale Method retains the right to request that franchisees store and input additional information into their system in the future.
This requirement ensures that Gokhale Method maintains a centralized database of student records for general recordkeeping and potentially for marketing or other business purposes. Franchisees must comply with Gokhale Method's specified method for data input, which could involve using particular software, data formats, or online portals. Franchisees are also responsible for upgrading or replacing their computer systems whenever Gokhale Method requires it, and Gokhale Method has no obligation to assist in obtaining hardware, software, or related services.
