What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the sole discretion to accept and qualify referred teachers. Specifically, if a franchisee refers a new teacher to Gokhale Method, the franchisor decides whether to accept that teacher and qualify them to teach the Gokhale System.
This means that even if a franchisee recommends someone, Gokhale Method is not obligated to accept or qualify that person as a teacher. The franchisor's decision is final. This protects the brand by ensuring that all teachers meet Gokhale Method's standards and are properly trained to deliver the system effectively.
For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding Gokhale Method's teacher qualification criteria. While referral bonuses are available, the ability to earn them depends entirely on the franchisor's acceptance of the referred teacher. Franchisees should inquire about the specific qualifications and training requirements for teachers to better understand the referral process.
