What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method Enterprise, Inc. (GME), the parent corporation of Gokhale Method Institute, Inc., provides certain services to the Gokhale Method in exchange for a fee. These services include administrative and marketing support. GME is also responsible for developing and enhancing the Gokhale Method itself. Additionally, GME conducts research and product development related to the Gokhale Method. Finally, GME serves as the source of products bearing the Gokhale Method marks, which franchisees may be required to purchase in connection with operating their franchise.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that a portion of their fees will go towards GME for these services. The administrative services could include things like handling paperwork, managing databases, or providing legal support. The marketing services could involve creating advertising campaigns, managing social media, or developing public relations strategies. The fact that GME is responsible for developing and enhancing the Gokhale Method suggests that franchisees will benefit from ongoing improvements to the program and curriculum.

It is important for potential franchisees to understand the specifics of these services and the associated fees. While the FDD mentions that GME provides these services in exchange for a fee, it does not specify the amount or how it is calculated. A prospective franchisee should inquire about the details of this fee structure and the specific services provided to fully understand the financial implications and the value they will receive from GME's support.
