What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to store specific customer information on their computers, and Gokhale Method can request updates to this information. Currently, the required information includes customer names, addresses, contact information, payment amounts, courses taken, and payment methods. Franchisees must share this data by inputting it into Gokhale Method's system as instructed.
Gokhale Method retains the discretion to require franchisees to store and input additional information into their system in the future. This means that the data storage requirements could evolve over time, potentially increasing the administrative burden on franchisees.
While franchisees are responsible for upgrading or replacing their computer systems as required by Gokhale Method, there is no obligation for Gokhale Method to assist in obtaining hardware, software, or related services. The FDD specifies that there are no contractual limits on the frequency or cost of these required upgrades, meaning these costs could vary significantly.
