What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method does have the right to approve the media used for advertising by franchisees. As stated in Item 12.2, all advertising and promotion by the franchisee must be in a format that Gokhale Method approves.
This means that a franchisee cannot use any advertising or promotional materials related to the Gokhale Method without prior written approval from Gokhale Method. Gokhale Method also has the right to mandate that all advertising designate their website, email address, and the franchisee's phone number for contact information.
This level of control over advertising is common in franchising to ensure brand consistency and protect the brand's image. For a prospective franchisee, this means they must adhere to Gokhale Method's advertising standards and obtain approval for all marketing materials before use. This may involve additional time and potential costs if materials need to be revised to meet Gokhale Method's requirements.
