Will Gokhale Method provide franchisees with Policy Statements?

- 4.4. Teacher's Manual and Policy Statements. We will provide you with access to our Teacher's Manual and provide you with any Policy Statements that we issue.
- 4.7. Ongoing Advice. During the Term of this Agreement, we may advise you from time to time regarding the Gokhale Way, in our discretion. Such advice may be furnished in the Teachers' Manual or in Policy Statements, during telephone conversations, through Internet sessions, live conversations or otherwise. Such advice may concern any aspect of the Franchised Business, and you must follow it unless otherwise specified.
- 10.1. Standards of Operation. In order to protect our reputation and goodwill and to maintain high standards of operation under the System, we will provide you with a Teachers' Manual, Policy Statements, or other writings setting forth the manner in which you shall teach the Gokhale System and operate the Franchised Business.
The Teachers' Manual, Policy Statements, or other writings may be online or in hard-copy form.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Gokhale Method's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method will provide franchisees with access to their Teacher's Manual and any Policy Statements they issue. These Policy Statements, along with the Teacher's Manual, outline the standards of operation that franchisees must adhere to.
The Teacher's Manual, Policy Statements, and other writings will detail how franchisees should teach the Gokhale Method and operate their franchised business. These materials may be available online or in hard copy. Franchisees are required to comply with the operating standards outlined in the Franchise Agreement, the Teacher's Manual, and Policy Statements. Failure to maintain these standards could result in suspension of teaching rights or termination of the Franchise Agreement.
Gokhale Method may also provide ongoing advice to franchisees regarding the Gokhale Way through the Teacher's Manual, Policy Statements, telephone conversations, internet sessions, or live conversations. This advice may concern any aspect of the franchised business, and franchisees are generally required to follow it unless otherwise specified. Franchisees should recognize that the Gokhale Method is comprised of intellectual property, trade secrets, and proprietary information owned by Gokhale Method.
