What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method may operate a database for student records. Specifically, Gokhale Method states that it may operate, in its discretion, a database in which franchisee student records will reside, and that will be used for general recordkeeping.
This database is not guaranteed, as it is operated at Gokhale Method's discretion. If the database is in operation, franchisees will be expected to input customer names, addresses, contact information, how much the customers pay, the courses taken by the customers, and the customers' payment methods into Gokhale Method's system. Gokhale Method may also require franchisees to store and input additional information into the system in the future.
While Gokhale Method may provide this database, franchisees are required to obtain specific computer hardware and software, such as an Apple MacBook or equivalent PC, an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, a digital projector, and a projector screen. The estimated cost for these items ranges from $1,200 to $4,200. Franchisees are also responsible for maintaining, repairing, and updating their computer systems, with estimated annual costs ranging from $0 to $1,000, depending on system breakdowns. Franchisees must also upgrade or replace their computer systems whenever Gokhale Method requires it.
