How often does Gokhale Method provide continuing training to franchisees?

Our ongoing obligations to you during the operation of your Franchised Business include:
Providing continuing training, including Teacher Webinar, an Annual Meeting and/or an alternative continuing education option, and other continuing training as we may determine from time to time (Section 7.2);
Additional training and refresher courses are required, including attendance at the Annual Meeting (or an approved alternative continuing education program) and participating in teacher webinars.
Once a year you must pay $450 for the annual teachers' meeting, for which you will also pay food and lodging. This is a required fee and attendance is mandatory. We do not at the present time have any further continuing education requirements, but we reserve the right to add them if we add new approved formats or new continuing education. All franchisees must attend training and complete it to the franchisor's satisfaction.
We may suspend your right to teach one or more courses or formats if you have not completed to our satisfaction all required training or refresher requirements, programs or courses.
Upon completion of Teacher Training Immersion Week, you must pay $240 a year for teacher webinars.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method provides ongoing training to franchisees. This includes Teacher Webinars, an Annual Meeting, and/or an alternative continuing education option. The FDD states that Gokhale Method may also provide other continuing training as they determine necessary from time to time.
Franchisees are required to attend the Annual Meeting or an approved alternative continuing education program and participate in teacher webinars. The cost for the annual teachers' meeting is $450, in addition to food and lodging expenses, and attendance is mandatory. There is also a fee of $240 per year for teacher webinars.
Gokhale Method also reserves the right to add new continuing education requirements if they add new approved formats or new continuing education programs. All franchisees must attend and complete training to Gokhale Method's satisfaction, and Gokhale Method may suspend a franchisee's right to teach if they have not completed all required training or refresher requirements.
