What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Gokhale Method's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method may maintain a website where franchisee classes are posted and students can register and pay. However, the FDD does not state that Gokhale Method is obligated to do so. The decision to maintain a website is at Gokhale Method's discretion.
While Gokhale Method may provide a website for class postings, franchisees are responsible for creating, recording, and maintaining information on sales and students as designated in the Teachers' Manual. These records must be maintained during the term of the Franchise Agreement and for two years thereafter. Gokhale Method can request copies of these records at their discretion, and franchisees must comply with these requests.
Prospective franchisees should confirm with Gokhale Method whether the website is currently operational, what the terms of use are, and if franchisees are required to use it. Franchisees should also inquire about any fees associated with using the website and what support Gokhale Method provides for it.
