What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method is not obligated to accept every teacher referral. While franchisees may refer new teacher candidates, the decision to accept and qualify a referred teacher rests solely with Gokhale Method.
This means that even if a franchisee refers a potential teacher, Gokhale Method has the discretion to decide whether or not to accept that individual as a teacher. This could be based on various factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, experience, or suitability for teaching the Gokhale Method.
If Gokhale Method does accept and qualify a teacher referral from a franchisee, the franchisee will be paid a Teacher Referral Fee according to the Teacher Referral Fee Schedule in effect at the time of payment. As of the signing of the agreement, this fee is $100, but it is subject to change at Gokhale Method's discretion with thirty days' notice. This policy ensures Gokhale Method maintains control over teacher quality and standards within the franchise system.
