What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee is not refundable. The FDD states that upon execution of the agreement, a franchisee must pay a non-refundable initial franchise fee of $4,000.
This means that once the fee is paid, the franchisee does not have the right to a refund, regardless of whether the franchise ever opens or becomes operational. This is a standard practice in franchising, as the initial fee covers Gokhale Method's costs for granting the franchise, initial training, and support.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider this non-refundable aspect before signing the franchise agreement and paying the initial fee. It is advisable to conduct thorough due diligence and seek professional advice to ensure they are fully aware of the terms and conditions of the franchise agreement.
