What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method determines whether shirts or uniforms are required for franchisees. Specifically, franchisees must purchase sufficient shirts or uniforms from Gokhale Method or its affiliate, GME, prior to opening their franchised business, but only if Gokhale Method requires it.
This means that whether or not you need to budget for uniforms depends on Gokhale Method's specifications. Because Gokhale Method mandates the purchase of uniforms from them if required, franchisees do not have the option of sourcing these from another supplier.
Prospective franchisees should confirm with Gokhale Method whether uniforms are currently required and factor in the cost when estimating their initial investment. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors often set dress code standards to maintain brand consistency.
