What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, the hands-on techniques training related to Gokhale® Foundations takes place at the location of the Immersion Week Course. This course includes 20 hours of classroom training dedicated to these techniques.
The Immersion Week is a critical component of the Initial Training for Gokhale Method franchisees. In addition to hands-on techniques, the Immersion Week covers various other essential aspects of the Gokhale Method, including its philosophy, teaching skills, consultation training, and effective use of images. The training also includes reviews of relevant anatomy, advanced techniques for self-use, and training in different environments.
Prospective franchisees should note that attendance at the Immersion Week is mandatory, and they are responsible for covering their own food and lodging expenses during this period. Failing to complete the Initial Training, including the Immersion Week, within six months may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. Therefore, franchisees should plan accordingly to ensure they can fully participate in and benefit from the training provided at the Immersion Week Course location.
