What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Gokhale System' encompasses the materials, procedures, and protocols used for teaching the Gokhale Method. The Gokhale Method itself is defined as a method for restoring Primal Posture as seen in young children, ancestors, and people in non-industrial cultures.
As a Gokhale Method franchisee, you are granted the right to teach the Gokhale System in authorized formats to individual students or groups of students solicited individually. This right is contingent upon adhering to the terms and conditions outlined in the Franchise Agreement. Deviation from these terms can lead to suspension or termination of the franchise agreement. Franchisees must operate in an approved facility that meets the franchisor's specifications as detailed in the Teacher's Manual or Policy Statements.
Franchisees are required to exclusively teach the Gokhale System in approved formats and must not deviate from the standards and specifications set by Gokhale Method without prior written consent. They must also refrain from selling any class, service, product, merchandise, or equipment that Gokhale Method disapproves of in writing. Furthermore, franchisees cannot allow other individuals to teach the Gokhale System without express written consent from Gokhale Method. This ensures quality and uniformity throughout the franchise system.
Maintaining high operating standards is crucial for all Gokhale Method teachers to uphold the quality of service and product, increase demand, and protect the brand's reputation and goodwill. Franchisees must comply with operating standards detailed in the Franchise Agreement, Teacher's Manual, and Policy Statements. Failure to maintain these standards can result in suspension of teaching rights or termination of the agreement. Franchisees must also attend any required continuing training to stay updated with the latest improvements and innovations in teaching the Gokhale System.
