What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to participate in any computer networks that the company adopts or develops. Specifically, Gokhale Method franchisees must participate in any intranet or extranet computer network, or other Internet-based or computer-assisted communication or teaching system.
This requirement means that franchisees must purchase and implement any equipment or supplies that Gokhale Method reasonably requires for these networks. Furthermore, franchisees must execute any software licenses or other agreements that Gokhale Method prescribes.
This obligation ensures that all Gokhale Method franchisees stay connected and utilize the same technology platforms for communication, teaching, and potentially other business operations. This standardization can help maintain consistency across the franchise system and facilitate efficient communication and information sharing. However, it also means that franchisees must be prepared to invest in the necessary technology and adhere to the franchisor's technology standards.
