What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, upon termination of the franchise agreement, a franchisee must cease using any of Gokhale Method's domain names, URLs, email addresses, or home page addresses. This includes any name or address that is confusingly similar to those used by Gokhale Method.

Furthermore, the franchisee is prohibited from establishing any website using a similar or confusing domain name, URL, or home page address. This obligation is designed to protect Gokhale Method's brand identity and prevent customer confusion after a franchise agreement ends.

This requirement is standard practice in franchising. It ensures that former franchisees do not misrepresent themselves as being affiliated with the Gokhale Method brand and that customers are not misled into thinking they are receiving services or products endorsed by Gokhale Method when they are not.
