What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Gokhale Method FDD, a franchisee must personally manage and operate the business. The franchisee is the only one who is allowed to teach classes in the Gokhale Method. This hands-on requirement ensures that the quality and consistency of the Gokhale Method are maintained.

The franchisee must diligently perform their obligations under the franchise agreements and continuously work to promote and enhance the business. This includes operating the franchised business in compliance with the Franchise Agreement. While franchisees can engage in other business activities, they are not allowed to mix them with any Gokhale Method activities or methodologies. This separation is important to maintain the integrity of the Gokhale Method brand and operations.

This requirement for personal management and operation is stricter than some franchises, which may allow for absentee ownership or management by a designated manager. The Gokhale Method's approach emphasizes the importance of the franchisee's direct involvement in teaching and managing the business. This ensures that the franchisee is fully invested in the success of the business and maintains the standards of the Gokhale Method. Prospective franchisees should consider this requirement carefully to ensure they are willing and able to commit to the day-to-day operation of the franchise.
