What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, upon termination of the Franchise Agreement, a franchisee is prohibited from using any of Gokhale Method's domain names, URLs, email addresses, or home page addresses. This extends to any name or address that is confusingly similar to those used by Gokhale Method.

Specifically, the franchisee is obligated not to establish any website using a similar or confusing domain name, URL, or home page address. This restriction is designed to prevent confusion among customers and to protect Gokhale Method's brand identity and online presence after the franchise agreement ends.

This obligation is a standard practice in franchising to ensure that former franchisees do not leverage the franchisor's brand recognition to unfairly compete or mislead consumers. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand these post-termination obligations, as failure to comply could result in legal action from Gokhale Method.
