What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is obligated to continuously exert their best efforts to promote and enhance the Gokhale Method business. This includes faithfully, honestly, and diligently performing all obligations under the franchise agreement. The franchisee must personally manage and operate the business and is the only one who can teach classes in the Gokhale Method.
This obligation means that franchisees must be actively involved in the day-to-day operations and growth of their Gokhale Method franchise. They cannot simply be passive investors; they must be the primary instructors and managers of the business. This personal involvement is crucial for maintaining the quality and consistency of the Gokhale Method's teachings.
The franchisee is allowed to engage in other business activities, but these must not conflict with their obligations to operate the Gokhale Method franchise in compliance with the Franchise Agreement. Additionally, these other activities cannot be mixed or combined with any Gokhale Method activities or methodologies, ensuring a clear distinction between the franchise and any other ventures the franchisee may pursue. This requirement protects the integrity and brand identity of the Gokhale Method.
