What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Gokhale Method's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees cannot independently implement any changes, amendments, or improvements to the Gokhale System without prior written consent from Gokhale Method. This requirement ensures uniformity and quality control across all franchised locations.
If a franchisee wishes to suggest a modification to the Gokhale System, they must first notify Gokhale Method in writing. This notification should include all information requested by Gokhale Method regarding the proposed change, amendment, or improvement. This allows Gokhale Method to properly evaluate the potential impact and benefits of the proposed modification.
The agreement specifies that Gokhale Method has the right to incorporate any franchisee-proposed change into the Gokhale System. Should Gokhale Method choose to adopt the franchisee's suggestion, it will obtain all rights, title, and interest in the change without providing any compensation to the franchisee. This clause highlights that while franchisees can contribute ideas, the ownership and control of the Gokhale System remain with the franchisor.
