What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, there are no local or regional advertising cooperatives. Gokhale Method also does not reserve the right to require franchisees to form, change, dissolve, or merge an advertising cooperative.
As a Gokhale Method franchisee, you are required to conduct free workshops to promote the Gokhale Method. The FDD states that the number of people you present free workshops to should be double the number you actually teach over the course of a year.
You can promote your classes using brochures and email blasts provided by Gokhale Method for a reasonable fee. You can also use local print, radio, or television advertising, but this will be at your own expense. Gokhale Method will provide advertising templates that you can customize with your information. However, you are not allowed to use your own advertising materials or advertise on the internet, except through the Gokhale Method website and email blasts.
