What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method FDD, the requirements to maintain qualification and good standing as a teacher are detailed in the Teacher's Manual and/or Policy Statements.
To maintain approval to teach the Approved Formats, a franchisee must attend additional courses, seminars, and other training programs that Gokhale Method may reasonably require. These requirements will be detailed in the then-current Teacher's Manual. Continuing training may include attendance at the Annual Meeting, participation in Teacher Webinars, peer review of teacher trainees, and involvement in Gokhale® Active. Failure to attend and participate in these programs may result in suspension of the franchisee's right to teach the Gokhale System until the required continuing training is completed and re-approval is granted.
As part of continuing approval, Gokhale Method may request franchisees to submit audiotapes or videotapes of their teaching at reasonable intervals, as detailed in the Teacher's Manual. These recordings may be submitted for peer review by other Gokhale Method teachers. Franchisees must also comply with the operating standards outlined in the Franchise Agreement, the Teacher's Manual, and Policy Statements. Failure to maintain these operating standards may result in suspension of the right to teach or termination of the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees must only teach the Gokhale System in Approved Formats and related classes, services, and products that have been expressly approved in writing by Gokhale Method and for which the franchisee has been qualified.
