What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, the receipts that prospective franchisees must sign are included in duplicate at the very end of the FDD as Exhibit "H". Franchisees will sign and date one copy of the receipt and give it to Gokhale Method Institute, Inc. when it is presented to them. The franchisee's copy of the receipt is also attached at the end of the Franchise Disclosure Document. The names, principal business addresses, and telephone numbers of each franchise seller are identified on the receipts.

Receipts are a standard part of the franchise disclosure process. They serve as an acknowledgement that the prospective franchisee received the FDD and understands the importance of reviewing it carefully before making any commitments or payments. This helps ensure transparency and compliance with federal and state franchise laws.

Prospective franchisees should carefully review Exhibit H and understand its contents. They should also retain their copy of the receipt for their records, as it may be needed to demonstrate that Gokhale Method complied with disclosure requirements. If a prospective franchisee does not receive Exhibit H with the FDD, they should request it from Gokhale Method to ensure they have all the necessary documentation.
