What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for paying for all training programs as per the then-current fee schedule. The Gokhale Method provides initial training, consisting of a Teacher Training Immersion Week and follow-up training, at no additional fee. However, franchisees are responsible for all expenses incurred while attending the Immersion Week and other training programs, including transportation, lodging, and meals.
Franchisees must also pay regular fees for continuing training programs, such as the Annual Meeting, teacher webinars, and membership in Gokhale® Active (Premium). The Billing Fee Schedule, which is in effect as of the signing of the Franchise Agreement and included in Exhibit A, details these fees and is subject to change at the Gokhale Method's discretion with thirty days' notice.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review Exhibit A and the then-current fee schedule to understand the full scope of training costs. They should also inquire about the frequency and nature of required continuing education to budget accordingly. Understanding how these fees may change over time is also crucial for financial planning.
