What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Gokhale Method's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to pay fees for teacher webinars. These fees are part of the continuing education and related fees that franchisees agree to pay. The fees cover continuing training programs, the annual meeting, teacher webinars, and membership in Gokhale® Active (Premium). The specific amount for the teacher webinar fee is listed in the Billing Fee Schedule.
The Billing Fee Schedule, which includes the teacher webinar fee, is effective as of the signing of the Franchise Agreement and is included as Exhibit A. However, Gokhale Method retains the right to change this fee schedule at its discretion, provided they give franchisees thirty days' notice.
Specifically, the 2024 Gokhale Method FDD states that the teacher webinar fee is $240, paid annually. This fee, along with other continuing education costs, ensures that franchisees stay updated with the Gokhale System and maintain their approval to teach the approved formats. Failure to participate in required continuing training programs can lead to suspension of the franchisee's right to teach the Gokhale System until the training is completed and re-approval is granted.
