What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method can deduct fees for equipment or products purchased by the franchisee from payments owed to the franchisee. Specifically, Gokhale Method can deduct any charges, fees, or other payments that the franchisee owes them. This includes deductions for continuing education, products, or equipment purchased from Gokhale Method, and any other fees or charges. After these deductions, Gokhale Method will remit the remaining balance to the franchisee.
This means that if a Gokhale Method franchisee purchases equipment or products from the franchisor, the amount due for those items can be directly subtracted from any payments that Gokhale Method owes the franchisee for their activities. This process ensures that Gokhale Method can efficiently collect payments for goods and services provided to the franchisee, streamlining the accounting and payment processes for both parties.
All payments due to the franchisee for activities within a calendar month will be made within 10 days of the close of that month. This timeframe provides a clear expectation for when franchisees can expect to receive their payments, after any applicable deductions have been made. This policy helps to clarify the financial relationship between Gokhale Method and its franchisees, ensuring transparency and predictability in payment processing.
