What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase specific equipment, materials, products, supplies, and services that Gokhale Method designates, and they must be purchased from approved suppliers. These items are detailed in the Teacher Manual, Policy Statements, or in writing.
Failing to maintain Gokhale Method's operating standards, which includes purchasing the required equipment and supplies, can lead to suspension of the franchisee's right to teach or even termination of the Franchise Agreement. Gokhale Method emphasizes that every detail of the system and franchised business is crucial for delivering high-quality service and products.
The FDD also states that purchasing the Initial Setup, which includes a list of initial equipment and related products and supplies, is a prerequisite for operating a Gokhale Method Franchised Business. Therefore, a franchisee cannot begin operations without these required purchases. Prospective franchisees should carefully review Item 8 of the FDD for a comprehensive list of required items and approved suppliers to ensure compliance and avoid potential penalties.
