What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Gokhale Method's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may receive a Teacher Referral Fee if they refer a new teacher to Gokhale Method. To qualify for the referral fee, the referred teacher must be accepted by Gokhale Method as a teacher and become qualified to teach the Gokhale System. The FDD specifies that the acceptance and qualification of the referred teacher is at Gokhale Method's sole discretion.
The Teacher Referral Fee Schedule in effect as of the signing of the Franchise Agreement is $100. However, this fee is subject to change at Gokhale Method's discretion, with thirty days' notice. This means that the referral fee amount could increase or decrease over time.
This referral program could be a potential benefit for Gokhale Method franchisees, allowing them to earn additional income by recruiting new teachers. However, the franchisee has no control over whether a referred teacher is accepted or qualified, as this decision rests solely with Gokhale Method. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the specific criteria Gokhale Method uses to evaluate and qualify new teachers to better understand the likelihood of receiving a referral fee.
