What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for the costs associated with continuing training. This includes fees for the training programs themselves, as well as expenses for transportation, lodging, and meals.
Gokhale Method requires franchisees to attend additional courses, seminars, and other training programs to maintain their approval to teach the Approved Formats. These continuing training programs are detailed in the Teacher's Manual and may include attendance at the Annual Meeting, participation in Teacher Webinars, peer review of teacher trainees, and involvement in Gokhale® Active. Failure to participate in these programs may result in suspension of the franchisee's right to teach the Gokhale System until the training is completed and re-approval is granted.
Prospective Gokhale Method franchisees should consider the ongoing costs of continuing education when evaluating the financial viability of the franchise. These costs can include not only the direct fees for the training programs but also the indirect costs of travel and accommodation. Franchisees should also factor in the time commitment required for continuing education, as this may impact their ability to generate revenue during training periods.
