What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Gokhale Method Franchise Disclosure Document, Gokhale Method retains the right to add new continuing education requirements for franchisees. While the document states that there are no further continuing education requirements at the present time, Gokhale Method explicitly reserves the right to implement them in the future if they add new approved formats or new continuing education programs.
Currently, Gokhale Method requires franchisees to attend an annual teachers' meeting, costing $450 per year, in addition to food and lodging expenses. Franchisees also need to participate in teacher webinars for which they must pay $240 annually. These existing requirements, along with the potential for new ones, highlight the importance of budgeting for ongoing training and development costs as a Gokhale Method franchisee.
Prospective franchisees should be aware that Gokhale Method can modify the training requirements, and it is crucial to stay updated with any changes to remain compliant and maintain their right to teach the Gokhale Method. Franchisees must attend training and complete it to the franchisor's satisfaction. This includes not only the initial training but also any additional classes or refresher courses that Gokhale Method may authorize or direct from time to time.
